Drowning is and has been for years the second-leading cause of accidental death among children in America! A fatal drowning incident can happen in any body of water at any time, usually when you least expect it! According to the National Safe Kids Campaign and the National Children's Center, for every fatal drowning, there are at least four near-drowning incidents that result in permanent neurological disabilities! Sadly, when these terrible and tragic accidents occur for whatever reason, there is no way of helping or rescuing the drowning individual. Dialing 911 is an excellent solution, for most emergency situations, but in a drowning emergency, the person who is in distress only has a few minutes if not seconds to receive help! Once he or she drops below the water line, bringing that person out alive or without any type of permanent brain damage is usually slim to none! When a parent, friend, loved one or bystander does go into the water to help try to rescue a drowning victim, it usually results in a tragic double drowning! This sad scenario occurs much too often! Research has shown in nearly 90% of all open water drowning incidents that have occurred, there was someone either trying to find a way to help, or going for help, but was unsuccessful in doing so! Without any type of emergency water rescue equipment available on-site when an emergency drowning situation does occur, the outcome could be tragic!

Life Mate (Emergency Water Rescue Alarm Stations) were designed to make our public waters safer, by providing the emergency water rescue equipment that would be there for quick emergency access and deployment, in the event, that a drowning emergency were to occur!

Life Mate stations' powerful alarms can also get attention and  alert people in the surrounding area that help is needed and this can be critical during a drowning emergency, especially when children are involved! Kids, even some adults panic when an emergency situation arises and this is when Life Mate stations can be there to help make the difference!

Life Mate stations are safe and easy to use, even a child with moderate skills could activate the alarms and deploy the floatation ring buoy, during an emergency situation! Even if a child was too young or unable to deploy the floatation ring buoy, once that child opens Life Mate stations' door, the alarms are automatically activated and can alert others that help is needed!

There are no guarantees that Life Mate stations will save every person's life from drowning, although it would be nice if they could!

Life Mate stations only provide the emergency water rescue equipment to help a person, help another person in an emergency drowning situation!
